Offer help to neighbors through Nextdoor.com

Neighbors are especially important, even as we remain in "social isolation" during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Are you able to lend a free helping hand to a neighbor during the current coronavirus pandemic? Maybe you can walk someone's dog? Or pick up a few grocery items? Run an essential errand? Check in (by phone) to an elderly or disabled neighbor?

Our Nextdoor.com website (kimberleynorth.nextdoor.com) is a resource where you can offer help to neighbors during the current coronavirus pandemic.

To post your offer of help just go to the "Help Map" at nextdoor.com/help_map/

The nextdoor site has a disclaimer stating that it is not an authority on health practices. They remind people to follow pandemic health and safety guidelines. (Wash hands, don't enter someone's house, leave items on the porch, use trusted payment services like Venmo or PayPal to handle reimbursement for purchased items, and so on.)

Members of nearby neighborhoods will be able to see your name, photo, and offer of help, but only neighbors in Kimberley North will see your home’s location. Of course, you can remove your offer at any time.
